Our mission is to make organic and natural whole food more accessible and affordable so all people can build themselves and their families with honest food. We want to make a natural life accessible so that more people are eating real food and cooking from scratch.

Forest Whole Foods started as one bag of organic hemp seeds, a Dad with a mission to make organic food more accessible and affordable and a very pregnant Mum with a toddler in tow who wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to do this ‘right now!?’. But we were so tired of spending lots of money on fancy packaging and expensive branding that we kept building our stock.

Here at Forest Whole Foods we do our very best to keep our costs low and our quality high. This is so we can provide a service to people who want to feed themselves and their families with honest foods that don’t cost the earth.

We know our customers care about organic food standards as much as we do so our products are sourced from suppliers who share our passion for quality foods. We jump through every hoop to make sure all our foods are packaged freshly and hygienically with codes that can be traced right back to the farm they were grown on. We source the highest quality products from the most ethical and quality oriented suppliers from around the world.

Forest Whole Foods are Soil Association and SALSA certified. We have a 5 star food hygiene certificate from the FSA and we work closely with trading standards so you know exactly what you are getting.

Our mission is to help people build themselves and the next generation with delicious meals that are made from scratch, with love.

Organic Brown Flaxseeds

One 30g serving of organic flaxseed is high in protein, fibre, B1, magnesium and manganese. Linseed is actually one of the richest sources of plant based omega 3 fatty acids (also called alpha-linolenic acid – ALA).

Organic Mixed Nuts

Organic Mixed Nuts are a great combination and together have a big nutritional hit. If you dont have a favourite nut and want to combine the nutritional value of lots of varieties then this is a great bag of nuts to choose. Snack on them, grind them up or put them in your muesli for a crunchy taste sensation.

Organic Raw Tahini

Tahini is a classic middle eastern condiment used in many dishes including Baba ghanoush, Hummus and Halva. It has a creamy, nutty, savoury flavour profile and is perfect to enjoy by its self or as an ingredient in salad dressings, dips and sauces.

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

Our Coconut Oil is harvested from organic plantations in Sri Lanka. These bountiful coconut farms offer employment to local people, particularly women. These locals work close to home as lab technicians, accountants and cleaning personnel. We are so happy to know that our coconut oil comes from an ethical source which offers support to the local community.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Our organic apple cider vinegar is made from 100% organic apples and not from concentrate. The apples are pressed into apple juice and then allowed to ferment naturally. The cider is then left for at least a year to mature.

100% Organic Red Rice

Directions:

Rinse the rice a few times, Soak overnight if you have time, Combine two parts rice to one part fresh water in a pan, Add salt now if you want, Boil for 10 minutes and then simmer for a further 15-20 minutes, Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving

    Have to be careful not to use too much water as it will ruin, like all rices. Cooked as per a recipe in ” The doctors Kitchen” it brings rice to new levels of deliciousness. Never thought I would enjoy rice so much !
